Runners in the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon could wind up racing in the rain thanks to remnants of the newly formed Tropical Storm Isaias in the Gulf.
The hurricane center’s initial projections said the center of Isaias could come onshore somewhere between eastern Louisiana and the western Florida Panhandle.
Over the weekend, Baja California could receive anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain from the storm while San Diego could see some showers late Saturday through Tuesday.
The Chicago area can expect to see plenty of rain in the next two days, including from the remnants of Hurricane Polo.
