This week, we brought Tibet to the halls of the United Nations. We briefed UN diplomats and experts on China’s colonial boarding school system, presenting the findings of Tibet Action’s new report “When They Came To Take Our Children.” Building on the UN’s landmark 2023 joint communication to China, our goal is to secure renewed international pressure to abolish these schools. SFT was joined in Geneva by the Office of Tibet Representative Thinlay Chukki La, as well as representatives from Tibet
